June Li
Every of my paintings tells a story, expresses it’s life, points to a path… I hope one of them will inspire you.

June Li was traditionally trained in art in Guangzhou, China. She earned her BFA from Sonoma State University and moved to San Francisco in 2007, where she began to explore more expressive and abstract work. While June is an established graphic designer, her true love is paint to express herself and inspire others. She explores life passionately along canvas roadways working in her studio in Potrero Hill.

Her daily life experience: being in different spaces, an over night train, a story from a stranger, a spot of texture on the street corner… all these big or small elements are the inspiration to her. Dripping technique and organic shapes, expressing beauty and power, are frequently found dancing together poetically within her work. Exploring her emotion intensely or abstractly, as June’s appreciation for city life and humanity flows from her palette.

June’s artwork is displayed in numerous San Francisco Bay Area public venues and private collections from China, Florence and London. She is currently available for gallery exhibitions and commissioned pieces.
